This Autumn, Huntsham Court will be hosting the first ever F.E.A.S.T Project. This ultimate organic foodie package offers groups the unique experience of hunting, fishing and foraging for their own dinner in the glorious natural surroundings of the Devon outdoors before their catch is transformed into a luxury meal by a top private chef.
The overnight corporate feast adventure starts at the stunning, private, 34-bedroom Victorian Gothic mansion, Huntsham Court, set in the beautiful, rolling Devon countryside.
After a debriefing session over breakfast, up to 30 participants are assigned to teams and whisked off for the day to separate locations around the picturesque Exe Valley. Each team will be accompanied and guided by a dedicated and skilled coach.
The teams’ mission is simple: to either fish, forage, (clay) shoot, butcher, or otherwise source and prepare the food for delivery to the mansion, where the private chef will be waiting to conceive of a multi-course gourmet feast designed around the individual teams’ contributions.
By recreating the long-lost feeling of earning your meal, the F.E.A.S.T project provides an enlightening, character-building, skill-strengthening experience. Thrown in at the deep end, participants are taken out of their comfort zone to depend on nature to live as we once did.
The retreat climaxes with the feast itself. Guests will be rewarded for their efforts on return to the beautiful Huntsham Court with pre-dinner drinks served in the elegant surroundings of the library whilst their hard earned ingredients are turned into a sumptuous meal, which is enjoyed in the formal dining room. Finally, guests will retire to one of the 34 luxurious bedrooms for a well-earned slumber.
The F.E.A.S.T Project will commence from autumn 2016 bookings are being taken now.
